A molecular model of ethanol, a volatile, flammable, colorless liquid found in alcoholic beverages, fuel, thermometers and solvents. Simply referred to by many as just "alcohol," ethanol is responsible for the psychoactive effects of intoxication from alcoholic beverages. Atoms are colored light gray (hydrogen), dark gray (carbon) and red (oxygen).
