The Run-club has themanagement of the two steeplechases and the athletic sports which takeplace in the spring. In the north-west corner of the cricket field are the Baths, beautifullyfitted with every modern appliance, presented to the School by the HeadMaster. The Swimming Bath is 70 feet long and 25 feet broad, and 6| feetat the deeper end, and 3^ feet at the shallow. The water is heated in winter, so that bathing can be enjoyed at all times of the year. Bathing twice a-weekis compulsoiy on all who have not passed the swimming test (five lengthsof the bath). In the opposite corner of the field is the tuck-shop and pavilion; theshop is managed by a committee chosen from the boys. The officers of thedifferent games are elected every year; cricket has a captain, treasurer, andsecretary; football and boating the same; fives has a
