A flintlock rifle with bronze barrel Johann Joseph Futter, Dresden, circa 1770. Heavy, seven-groove rifled octagonal barrel made from bronze in 14 mm calibre, with dovetailed bronze sights. Iron flintlock with engraved rocailles, with signature "FUTTER A DRESDE" and (defective) single set trigger. Florally carved walnut full stock with copper muzzle ring. The bronze furniture engraved and in relief, the trigger guard engraved "F.B. No: 28". Wooden ramrod with brass tip. The closure spring of the patch-box is missing. Length 108 cm.
