A family of wild ostriches (Struthio camelus). This group consists of females and a male. The ostrich, a flightless bird, is the world's largest and tallest bird, being around 2.5 metres tall. It inhabits plains and dry areas in central and southern Africa, feeding on seeds, flowers, leaves and plant stems. When threatened, it can reach a top speed of around 64 kilometres per hour.
