A branch of the Philippine National Bank on Roosevelt Avenue in Queens in New York in the "Little Manila" neighborhood on Friday, November 8, 2013. Super Typhoon Haiyan, which meteorologists think might be the strongest storm ever recorded, has hit the Philippines with fatalities and massive property destruction. The storm has sustained winds of 195 mph (315 kph) and approximately 125, 000 people evacuated. Fifteen percent, about 13, 000 people, are of Filipino background and live in Woodside. (© Richard B.
