Description El Adivino, East Building, Uxmal Archeological Site, Yucatan Peninsular, Mexico. Uxmal is located in the Santa Elena Valley to the south of the Puuc hill country in the southwestern part of the Yucatan Peninsula. The area was first settled in 500BC and the architecture at this site is one of the most authentic examples of the Puuc style although most of the architecture visible today was built between about 700 and 1100.
