Description The ornate arms of the long defunct London Chatham and Dover Railway dominate the southern end on the now dismantled Blackfriars railway bridge across the River Thames to Blackfriars in the City of London. The bridge also known as the Alexandria Railway Bridge and the St Paul's Railway Bridge was partially dismantled in 1984. The arms of Dover Chatham Kent and the City of London are incorporated together with Invicta unconquered, the motto of Kent, V for Queen Victoria and the date 1864 with a crown and roses.
