Description
|
La Boca is a picturesque area at the mouth of the Riachuelo River, where the city’s first settlers landed. Many of the streets are lined with houses painted in bright colours built from leftover corrugated iron. Now an artists’ colony is was the site of the city’s first meat-salting plants, which brought great wealth to Buenos Aires in the 19th century. |
