The murals painted by the Bogside Artists are an ongoing project since 1994 due to be completed in 2008 . The murals depict key moments in the Northern Ireland troubles from a Derry perspective . The Bogside Artists are William Kelly , Tom Kelly and Kevin Hasson . The mural was unveiled on 1st September 1999 and finished in June 2006 and depicts 14 year old Annette McGavigan in her school uniform .
