Description Man trekking through flooded streambed in desert canyon. These are Solomon Tech Amphibian shoes which are designed for hiking in water filled canyons and other wet adventure areas. Sabino Canyon Tucson Arizona. These were shot on July 30th 2006 which was day two of a catastrophic flooding event which cause a record number of landslides in Sabino Canyon and Catalina Mountain range which closed the area for months. This localized flooding caused more than 200 landslide events the next day (July 31st 2006). US Geological survey teams were documenting and studding this event which was considered a 1 in 500 year flood. Adding other image of stream flow soon.
