Pictures from the International Arts and Crafts Exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (17th March - 24th July 2005) are now available on the Alamy website.
This is the first major exhibition to explore the movement from a truly international perspective. It was one of the most far-reaching, influential and popular design movements of modern times, Pioneered by John Ruskin and William Morris in Britain in the late nineteenth century, Arts and Crafts grew out of concern for the effects of industrialization and established a new set of principles for living and working which spread across Europe, America and Japan.
