Alteration to the contributor agreement
We are notifying you of a change to Alamy.com's commission fee. Please be assured that registered contributors (registered before the date of this notice) will not be affected by this, and will remain eligible for the original 10% fee.
There are now two different commission fees - one at 10% and one at 20%. The higher rate is brought about by the increased administrative costs for dealing outside the main market. By using more funds for marketing to these countries (under the 20% rate), we will be able to provide a larger audience, and therefore more sales, for the contributors from these countries.
The following countries remain at a 10% fee: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America.
For all other countries, the 20% fee applies.
The payment address of the contributor determines which commission fee is applicable.
We would like to reiterate that existing contributors will remain at the 10% rate, whatever country is applicable to them.

13. Termination
c) On termination Alamy.com shall:
'v. not return to the contributor any data, of whatever kind, relating to an image.'
