Alamy Images India is looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented candidate to be part of our IT Operations team.
The selected candidate will be able to:
- Analyse and translate business strategies and scenarios into technical strategies design and implement architectural prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Provide technical leadership and steering to other engineers.
- Work with the UK Network Operations Manager, the combined Operations team and the Development team to ensure the continuing resilience and performance of Alamy's IT infrastructure and services it delivers.
- Act as Technical Project Lead on a portfolio of projects and providing technical input on others
Our Technopark IT Operations team works closely with their colleagues in the UK. The selected candidate will also:
- Take responsibility for requests for new or updated services from Operations Teams in India and UK (principally from the UK Network Operations Manager).
- Prepare architecture prototypes and design documents for Infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with operations teams to develop quality infrastructure services.
About you
- Bachelor's /Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related fields or equivalent training and with 5 - 8 years experience.
- Preferable a multiple Certified professional (MCITP/MCM/MCSE, CCDP/CCNP/CCNA, VCAP/VCDX)
- Strong experience in the following skills: Networking (LAN, WAN), Firewalls, Microsoft Infrastructure (AD, IIS, SQL, TMG, Exchange), Storage (NAS, SAN) and Virtualisation.
- Proven experience in service architecture of Internet facing services as well as internal business services
- Extensive experience in delivering requirements such as performance, scalability and security
