About the job
Alamy Images India is looking for a highly motivated candidate to be part of our testing team who will be able to understand functional requirements in depth, build test scenarios and test data and actively conduct testing. The job holder will take complete responsibility for the full testing of software components of related solution services ensuring that they meet the entire functional and technical requirements.
Our Technopark development team develop in a project-based agile environment, working closely with our colleagues in the UK. The selected candidate will:
- Ensure software operates as designed and is compliant with software requirements
- Participate in all phases of the project, from review of requirements and design to final system testing and launch
- Create and execute test cases, test plans, procedures and manual test cases/scripts
- Conduct backend database testing through SQL interface
About you
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer application with an experience of 1-3 years testing web applications
- Good understanding / experience of formal testing methodologies, test automation techniques and the defect reporting process
- Knowledge of performing functional and performance testing is preferred
- Good knowledge of databases, web servers and web applications
- Good knowledge of MS SQL, .NET, HTML/ASP, Java
- Exposure to automated and performance testing is an added advantage
