Alamy Images India is looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented candidate to be part of our IT Operations team. The selected candidate will assist in ensuring high availability of all customer facing services by server, desktop and user support. Responsibilities also include performing IT Service Management related activities such as system /network administration and working on projects.
Our Technopark IT Operations team works closely with their colleagues in the UK. The selected candidate responsibilities will include:
- Installing, configuring and managing of server operating systems
- Planning and implementation of network and storage requirements
- Migrate test systems to production status
- Managing LAN, network devices and links for high availability
- Management of Active Directory and Exchange
- Management of ESX and Citrix servers
- Prepare test servers and network hardware
- Ensure 24 hour systems availability by proactive monitoring and managing of network, bandwidth and servers
About you
- BCA/BSc/B Tech/Degree with technical background and with 4 - 7 years experience of IT operations /network support with 1-2 years experience of similar role in a large complex environment
- MCSE certified
- BEC vantage and ITIL certification is desirable
- Hands on experience of virtualization technology
- Good understanding or TCP/IP networking, routing and switching
- Working knowledge on ITIL frame work and IT service management
- Exposure to high availability technologies: RAID, load balancing, clustering
- Good problem solving skills in regard to hardware maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Basic understanding of scripting – Power shell, VB script
- Exposure to firewall and security systems
