Feb. 29, 2012 - Shooting scenes for ''Circus of blood''; Academy Award winning star Joan Crawfod and Hollywood actor TY Hardin (famed for his TV ''Broneo'' series), started work today in the film ''Circus of Blood'' the thriller being made by Herman Cohen for Columbia. Their first scenes for this ''gutsy drama'', set under the big top, were shot on location at Blackheath in South East London. They showed Miss Crawford and Ty Hardin in a circus animal tent. To celebrate her 10th brithday, cooks at Pinewood,, where Alan Ladd is shooting interior scenes of ''Hell Below Zero'', prepared for her a wonderful iced birthday cake modelled on the ice-breaker 'Kista Dan, in which the Warwick Film Production Unit spent 2 months in the Antarctic on location. Feb. 29, 2012 - Charlie Chaplin in the Old Kent Road Charlie Chaplin finished shooting his new picture ''A Countess from Hong Kong'' yesterday - and did so only a short way from the place in Southwark, London, where he was born 77 years ago. The final scenes were in a warehouse in the Old Kent Road, just two turnings from the Chaplin birthplace in East Street. Mr. Chaplin did not visit the street - he has already done so - alone.
