Setting up with Distribution

1. Contact us for availability
   Contact distribution@alamy.com to check whether we are able to appoint a representative in your region.
   
   
2. Review the images available in your territory
   Images for sale in each territory are available through different websites unique to each region. Select your country URL from the list of territories to view the images available to you. Examples include:
   • www.alamy.com/nl for the Netherlands
   • www.alamy.com/jp for Japan
   
   
3. Send us a business plan
   This should outline estimated sales forecasts and provide further information on your company including:
   • general information on your company (number of people and profile)
   • the number of sales people you have (do they sell out in the field or are they office based?)
   • a profile of your customer base (for example, the editorial/commercial split and the number of active customers and prospects you have)
   • other stock agencies you represent and if we can take up references with them
   • how you market the products you represent.
   As Alamy receives only a 15% share of any distributor sale made (45% to our contributing photographers and 40% to the distributor) we do not provide marketing support. Therefore, we will also need to know how you would promote Alamy's images.
   
   
4. Alamy review your business plan
   If successful, Alamy will agree a distribution contract with you and discuss ways of integrating our images on your website.
   
   
5. Register on www.alamy.com
   All users needing to access images must register on www.alamy.com
   
   
6. Asked to be activated
   Please email distribution@alamy.com with the email addresses of all users and we will send you an account form to complete.
   
   
7. Search and download images
   You are now ready to search and download the images available to you. Only search and download images from the website most relevant to your region. Select one from our list of list of territories or contact distribution@alamy.com for assistance.
