Pseudonyms
A pseudonym is the name under which you sell your images and which will be credited by customers. You may use your own name or create one or more pseudonyms to represent and brand your collection.
- We display your pseudonym as a link next to the comp. Customers clicking it will see all of the images represented by this pseudonym.
- Your default pseudonym is the name you gave during registration.
- Create several pseudonyms to group images under different names.
- If you delete a pseudonym, you will also delete all the images associated with it. You will not be able to use the pseudonym again.
Pseudonyms and AlamyRank
- AlamyRank is calculated for each pseudonym.
- When you create a new pseudonym we give it a “median” AlamyRank until we have gathered enough data to establish its actual rank.

- Under “Organise images”, click “Manage images”.
- In the top left menu, click “Set default values and manage pseudonyms”.
- Create, delete and set default pseudonyms.
