Since joining Alamy as Finance Director, and later as Finance & Operations Director, she has led a transformative journey focused on innovation, process optimisation, and data-driven decision-making. Her leadership has strengthened Alamy’s performance and resilience in a competitive market.
An MBA and CIMA-qualified professional, Lira’s vision for Alamy is rooted in inclusivity, continuous improvement and bold innovation. She is passionate about unlocking new growth opportunities, expanding Alamy’s global footprint, and fostering a culture of creativity and agility - all while scaling the business sustainably and delivering exceptional value to customers and contributors alike.
Charlotte McCallum – Finance Director, Alamy

Charlotte heads up the finance, data and operations functions at Alamy, guiding a global team of finance professionals and problem solvers. She provides strategic financial leadership and guidance on all aspects of financial management, working closely with the senior leadership team to shape the business’s long-term direction and support sustainable growth.
Charlotte brings extensive experience from PA Media Group, where she led transformation initiatives and group-wide finance functions. She has a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering change that enhances resilience, transparency, and long-term value.
Candice Murray – Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Alamy

Candice Murray

Candice leads Alamy’s global sales strategy, overseeing all revenue streams, including enterprise, ecommerce, distribution, data services, partnerships, copyright enforcement and secondary rights. Her strategic oversight ensures alignment between commercial goals and customer needs across a broad international footprint.
With over 25 years of licensing experience, Candice has held senior roles at Shutterstock and Condé Nast, and served on the boards of the Digital Media Licensing Association and the News Media Coalition. She brings deep industry insight and a collaborative mindset to driving growth, strengthening relationships, and shaping Alamy’s future in a competitive global market.
James Allsworth – Head of Content at Alamy

James is responsible for the development of a rich and diverse visual library that serves customers across industries and geographies. Since joining in 2005, he has played a key role in driving content innovation and aligning creative strategy with Alamy’s growth ambitions.
A digital media graduate and seasoned photographer, James is deeply committed to supporting contributors and showcasing their work. His focus on originality, relevance, and global appeal ensures Alamy continues to deliver compelling content that meet the evolving needs of an ever-changing marketplace.
Rachel Wakefield – Head of Customer Operations, Alamy

Rachel oversees Alamy’s Customer Operations team, drawing on her extensive experience and long-standing tenure with the business. She has held a variety of senior roles with a strong focus on customer and partner relations, helping shape Alamy’s customer proposition and service standards.
She excels at finding practical, people-first solutions to complex challenges, always with the goal of making things easier and more intuitive for those Alamy serves. Rachel champions improvements that reflect real needs - removing friction, improving clarity, and creating a service experience that feels effortless and human.

Simon leads Alamy’s Technology team, where he is focused on delivering high-quality, customer-centric products and modernising platform infrastructure. Since joining in 2021, he has driven key changes to modernise systems and improve performance across Alamy’s digital ecosystem.
Simon brings deep technical expertise from PA Media Group, where he led the solutions architecture discipline across the organisation. At Alamy, he fosters an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture and champions agile delivery, enabling teams to adapt quickly, experiment with new ideas, and build resilient platforms that support the business’s creative and commercial ambitions.
