I'm pleased to announce that following our successful trial with a further 250 contributors, the revamp of annotation tools (called Manage Images v2.0) has today been rolled out to a further 1000 Alamy contributors.
The feedback we have received so far has been extremely positive and if all continues to go according to plan we will be rolling Manage Images v2.0 out to the remainder of our contributors over the coming weeks.
We are continuing to take a gradual approach but we will be giving priority to our more active contributors.
You will receive an email once the new tools have been enabled in your account but also keep an eye out for the 'Manage Images v2.0' link in 'My Alamy'.
We have already started work on the next version which has some important enhancements but we are sure you'll find these new tools a welcome improvement.
Please do not email us to ask to be included in the next batch as we have already decided on our running order for roll out.
