© Vadim Ponomarenko Alamy picture research have created an impromptu picture needs in response to the arctic like weather that has been prevalent in the UK for the past week. Our Winter/snow picture needs focus on the potential of picture postcard scenes and thrill/fun factor, the snow brings, as well as the more negative aspects. The picturesque scenes are often used for calendars, greeting cards and postcards. Images will also be used editorially to illustrate climate change and effects of inclement weather as well as for science textbooks and publications.
