We are pleased to announce that Alamy will be holding another London based contributor event on Friday November 7th 2008 from 14:00 – 17:00.

There will be two presentations followed by a Q&A session. Speaking at the event will be Alamy CEO James West and our Head of Content, Alan Capel.

Places are limited to 280 only, but like last year, we will record the event and post a video on our blog. Given the size of the venue, applications are limited to one per contributor account - multiple places will not be allocated.

With this in mind, please only apply if you are sure you can attend. Places will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis.

If you would like to join us, please email Member Services with the words "event application" in the subject line, with the body of the email left empty, by Friday 10th October. You will be contacted shortly after by email to confirm whether or not your application has been successful. More detailed information will be provided if your place is confirmed.

Could some one explain why the contributor event is held in London.
Wouldn't it be cheaper to hold the event out side London. Which would mean Alamy could hire a larger room and allow more contributors to attend.
As Alamy are based in Oxford why not hold it there.

Great news, but could you please also tell us how many months it will take to post the video on the site?

Good Luck - let's hope it is a really informative day.

Please post the video as soon as possible so that those who can't make it can share the experience quickly.

Good Luck and enjoy the sandwiches

Has the video been posted somewhere?

I would love to see/hear news about the contributor tools etc.
