Alamy UK event 2007

We are pleased to announce that Alamy will be holding another London based contributor event in the afternoon of Friday November 23rd 2007.

There will two presentations on the day followed by a Q+A session. Speaking at the event will be Alamy CEO James West and our Head of Content, Alan Capel.

Places are limited to 300 only so to avoid disappointment, we will be making all the information supplied available in a user friendly way after the event. Applications will also be limited to 1 per contributor account - multiple places will not be allocated. With this in mind, please only apply for a seat if you are sure you can attend. Places will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis.

If you would like to join us for the event, please email member services with the words "event application" in the subject line, with the body of the email left empty, by Wednesday 17th October. For obvious reasons, we are only able to contact the first 300 applicants with additional details for the event. If you have not heard from us by Friday 19th October then unfortunately you have not been allocated a place.

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that there will be no USA based presentation from us this year. Due to the size of the USA and the cost involved we felt our efforts would be better focused on communicating our London event to all contributors. Further details of this will be announced as they become available.

    Thank you for thinking of organising this for us.

    I can't stand the lack of response any more. Though I do sense some 'I'm a bit pissed off with Alamy at the moment' feeling floating around in the ether.

    tried to post on the blog but get repeated error messages;


    I hope to go to the meet in London.

    It would be good to know what it's going to be about. Some have assumed that there will be 'good news' announcements immediately prior to the meeting such as 'Measures'.

    Last year the meet was just after AlamyRank so that was the focus.

    What is the agenda/purpose of the meeting?

    Though I'll come anyway just to get an away day down to London.

    Let's meet for a few drinks before and after?

    Also im very positive regards the new Keywording a change for the better imo.

    The event will be recorded and made available shortly afterwards for everyone who cannot attend.

    All invites have now been emailed out and are awaiting confirmations.

    All notices of unsuccessful applications have now been sent out and there is no need to reply.
