Enter now, for the opportunity to exhibit at the AOP Gallery and to win a variety of outstanding prizes.
The AOP Open, now in it’s eighth year, is one of the only major photographic competitions accessible to everyone; featuring contemporary photography at its most varied and compelling, it represents a search for outstanding imagery and a celebration of the diversity of photography and it’s role as an artistic medium.
The competition offers a rare opportunity for amateurs, emerging photographers and established professionals to contend on a level playing field and to share their favourite images without the constraints of set boundaries or themes; the Open is for anyone with a love of photography who has taken a great picture they want to share. Increasingly popular from year to year with entries flooding in from across the globe, the highest standards are met in all genres.
A panel of Judges, selected for their passion for visual imagery and as leaders in their respective fields, are drawn from all corners of the creative industry and will face the challenge of selecting just the very best images. Awards will be presented for the judges ‘Best in Show’ choices and the ‘Public Choice’ winner at the AOP Gallery in London on 23 August. There are a variety of outstanding prises to be won, with the “Best in Show” winning a Nikon D200 and 17-55mm lens with a value of over £2000.
The deadline for entries is 5 July 2007. Entry is open to all with no restrictions on subject matter or number of entries at a cost of only £12.00 per photograph. For full information and to download an entry form visit the AOP Open website.
